The 3M QTIII 7625-T cold shrink cable termination consists of three non-riveted, three-phase cable terminations in a single body. It provides good flexibility, sealing, and water resistance for copper tape, copper wire, and UniShield shielded cables. The combination of high dielectric constant materials and sealing compounds allows the cable termination to withstand voltage ratings from 5 to 35kV.
QTIII 7625-T cold shrink cable terminations are used for medium voltage cables with solid insulation and shielding. Made of UV-resistant, surface leakage resistant and hydrophobic silicone rubber insulation material, the cable terminations have a long service life. High dielectric constant material ensures low surface voltage stress and improved surge protection, while ensuring leakage protection and compact size. Meets IEEE 48 class 1 standards for indoor and weatherproof applications. Cable sizes for application at 5kV voltage: 500-750 kcmil· 8 kV: 350-700 kcmil· 15 kV: 4/0 AWG-500 kcmil. Cable end compatible with cos end: QL2-A-1/0-350 used for 4/0 AWG-350 kcmil cable (15kV)
